We have been moving people in Manchester, Salford and beyond since 1989. The company was originally started by Peter Buckley and it is now in second generation ownership, having been taken over by his son Mark.  Our motto to the customer is quality, honesty and reliability.

We are a family-run moving company based in the Manchester, Salford area with 30 years of experience. Are you insured?

Yes Buckley’s Removals is covered by a £5m commercial liability insurance and all our removers are fully trained to ensure your move goes smoothly.

What types of removals do you do?

Buckley’s Removals specialises in all types of domestic and commercial removals. From small studio flats and large many-bedroom family properties to businesses and offices, we can help with moves of all sizes and distances. We have a fleet of different vehicles owned by us which allows us to tailor a bespoke removal package to fit your requirements.

Do you provide packing materials?

Based in Salford, Greater Manchester, Buckley’s Removals and Storage can cover Manchester, Sale, Stockport, Oldham, Littleborough, Rochdale, Bolton, Bury, Eccles, Longsight, Moston, Withington as well as Leeds, Sheffield, Liverpool and long haul across the UK.

Can I do my own packing?

We want to make your move stress free so will work with you to make this possible. We are happy for you to do the packing for a house or office removal yourself, we can help pack up just the breakables or we can come round and carefully pack everything away for you.

Do you have storage facilities?

We have a 22,000 sq ft (2,000 sq. m.) secure storage facility based in Salford which is perfect for both business and personal storage. What happens if I don't get my keys in time?

 Generally when moving in and out of a house you would expect to be able to drop off and pick up your keys from 12pm on the day of your move. If this doesn’t happen and you don’t get your keys in time there may be additional costs. To keep our costs down we specify set time windows for you move and going over this may incur extra charges. We do however offer a Waiting Time Waiver at a cost of £50 (plus VAT) which will grant extra waiting time and help ensure your move then goes off without a hitch.

What payment forms do you accept?
We accept most forms of payment, including cash (we may ask for a deposit to secure your booking prior to full payment on the day of the move), cheque (we ask for full payment at least 7 days before the removal day to ensure the funds have cleared) and credit and debit card including; Visa, Mastercard and Maestro.
